Part II.

Market Alerts.

 Volatility analysis is the critical key to Options trading. It has been written about and discussed in hundreds of books and manuals. Recognized professional traders and brokers know this and it is the goal of the PowerAnalyzer Service to unlock this key to Options trading.

PowerAnalyzer's Market Alerts are entirely devoted to spot different trends in volatility's behavior. Our programs scan through all option able Stocks and Indexes using different pattern recognition schemas to define lists of Stocks or Indexes:

  1. Ready to Move;
  2. Overvalued Options;
  3. Undervalued Options;
  4. Highest MIV (Market Implied Volatility) / SV (20 Days Statistical Volatility) ratio;
  5. Lowest MIV (Market Implied Volatility) / SV (20 Days Statistical Volatility) ratio;
  6. Highest Implied Volatility;
  7. Lowest Implied Volatility;
  8. Highest Statistical Volatility;
  9. Lowest Statistical Volatility.

PowerAnalyzer presents these Lists in an easy to access form.

Lets assume that we want to build High probability Credit Spreads and we are looking for Stocks with the "Highest Implied Volatility". Make your selection of what major criterion you want to use (from the drop-down menu on the upper right of the screen). One you make your choice, a list will appear on your screen in a three columns table just under the drop-down menu you selected (see below). The first column shows Market Implied Volatility (M.I.V.), the second is Last Price and the third one is a Symbol.

By default, the list is sorted by MIV descending sequence. You can customize the sorting sequence by clicking on a header button for the column, so if you want to sort by "Last Price", just click on a second column header button.

To start the analysis click on a symbol in the third column of the 3-column table (ZIXI in the example below). This symbol will appear in the symbol box on the left of your screen (2nd row). Now you are ready to click "Get Data" button (top left of screen) to download all data for this symbol and continue steps that we learned in Part I of this Tour.

To repeat, click on the symbol. and then it will appear in the symbol window.

Finally, click on "Get Data".

These Lists are extremely powerful. They tell you what volatility situation existed today at the market’s close. You can spot the opportunity, build and analyze your trade and than place order before the next day’s market opening. PowerAnalyzer makes your search for the profitable trades much easier.
